I performed a significant amount of on-line research before deciding on the Garmin 760. What sold me was the voiced directions, “turn right on Main Street in 0.2 miles.

Garmin Nuvi 760
This is the first navigation system we have purchased. We are satisfied with the Garmin except for a few things. The battery life is so short!

Old maps
The 760 works pretty much as expected but the map that come with it is two years out of date. Updated maps and European maps are very ecpensive and not too easy to finf.

Great product. The voice feature did not work when I originally received it. Returned it to Garmin and got a new one right away.

Poor quality Control
I liked all the features on the Nuvi 760…..when it was working. My first unit went bad after a week.

I bought this item for a job I accepted with a Pest Control Co. I kmow my way around the city I live in, but other towns with back roads are hard to find. Alot of back roads.

I travel a lot and need a GPS that I can take with me, to switch between rental cars. This fit the bill perfectly. Accurate, easy-to-read, easy-to-use, etc.
